Dr. Yee joined over 30 other California dentists to provide dental care to needy residents of the Bay Area at the Oakland Coliseum in March 2012. The four-day clinic held by the volunteer medical corps Remote Area Medical (RAM) saw over a thousand uninsured and under-insured dental patients.RAM supplied the dental equipment and various dental companies generously donated supplies. All we dentists had to do was give our time and skills.

This young boy is a brave warrior as he holds on to his extracted tooth. He had been in pain and his family came to the clinic before sunrise to reserve an appointment with Dr. Yee.

The appreciation and thankful hearts of the people we saw were the rewards we received after a hard day’s work.
